Introducing Tetreum: The Next Evolution in Blockchain Infrastructure

After two years of research and development, Tetreum is ready to reveal the architecture behind its next-generation blockchain — one built from scratch to eliminate the core bottlenecks that have held back mainstream adoption.

The Problem With Existing Blockchains

Every major blockchain today was designed around one central constraint: sequential transaction processing. Bitcoin processes roughly 7 transactions per second. Ethereum, even after multiple upgrades, rarely sustains more than 30 TPS under real-world load. This isn't just a performance inconvenience — it is the primary reason blockchain has failed to penetrate global commerce, gaming, social media, and enterprise systems at scale.

High throughput in isolation is not the answer. Several chains claim 100,000+ TPS in benchmarks but collapse under realistic network conditions. What makes Tetreum different is that our architecture was designed around real-world adversarial load from day one.

Proof of Authority: The Right Consensus for Performance

Tetreum runs on a Proof of Authority (POA) consensus model. Validators are vetted organizations and technical teams committed to long-term network integrity. This allows us to eliminate the energy waste of Proof of Work and the capital lockup complexity of Proof of Stake while maintaining a highly responsive block production cadence.

Our validator network operates in sub-second block production with deterministic finality — meaning once a transaction is confirmed, it cannot be reversed. No waiting for 12 confirmations. No probabilistic settlement.

Full EVM Compatibility

Tetreum is fully EVM-compatible. This means every Solidity smart contract, every Hardhat project, every ethers.js or wagmi integration works on Tetreum without modification. Developers who know Ethereum already know Tetreum.

  • Deploy any Solidity 0.8+ contract unchanged
  • Use Remix, Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle as normal
  • Integrate MetaMask and WalletConnect in minutes
  • Connect to TetScan Explorer for on-chain analytics

120,000 TPS: How We Got There

Our throughput breakthrough comes from parallel transaction scheduling. When a transaction arrives at a validator, our runtime analyzes its state read/write dependencies and schedules it alongside all non-conflicting transactions simultaneously. On modern multi-core hardware, this allows thousands of transactions to execute in parallel within a single block period.

Near-Zero Transaction Costs

Tetreum transactions cost a fraction of a US cent. Our gas model is fixed and predictable — no gas auctions, no fee spikes during high activity. This is essential for real-world applications like micropayments, gaming economies, and global remittance where $20 Ethereum gas fees make use cases economically impossible.

What's Live Today

The Tetreum Testnet is live at Chain ID 793788. You can connect MetaMask, deploy contracts to the testnet explorer at testnet.tetscan.com, and begin building today. The $TET presale is also open — enabling early supporters to acquire tokens at launch price before mainnet listing.
