Why A Native Token Matters

Many blockchains use ETH or BNB for gas even on third-party chains. This creates value leakage — network activity enriches another ecosystem's token holders, not the chain's own community. Tetreum's native TET token means every transaction on Tetreum creates value for TET holders.

Staking Mechanics

TET holders can stake their tokens in three lock pools, each with different time commitments and reward rates. The longer you lock, the higher your Annual Percentage Yield (APY). Staking rewards are funded directly from the network's block reward allocation.

All staking is conducted on-chain via the TET Staking smart contract. There are no custodians — you retain control of your keys at all times.

Fee Burn Mechanism (Roadmap)

Beginning in Q2 2026, Tetreum will implement a partial transaction fee burn. A percentage of every gas fee collected will be permanently removed from circulation. This deflationary pressure strengthens TET's long-term value as network usage grows.
